For every day in 2011, I'm going to write something. I'm calling this project WEDAY, or Write Every Day All Year. I'm announcing this so that I have to do it. Whatever I write that doesn't make me cringe will appear here.

crisper, who did basically the same thing in 2010. I have been amazed by his ability to do this all year and keep a consistent high standard for writing clean words around fresh ideas. You should read his stuff.
I don't like that I haven't written much lately, so I'm going to make myself write a lot. I've never felt as happy with myself, and with my ability to create something worth making, as when I go back and look at something that I wrote well. I'm looking at this as an opportunity to get my writing chops back, as opposed to actually writing good things as part of this project. I totally expect that at various points I'll be mailing this in bigtime.
